We have been looking at bikes for the kids for awhile. Robert needed a 14" bike - an impossible size to find outside of Toys R Us. Seriously, we've been looking for I think over a year - well before Mikaela could even figure out how to pedal a tricycle!

I was just looking at the "share privileges" for the Sears photo sessions we've done of the kids in the past. They were FILLED with all sorts of weird, made-up names.

I'm so 2 I dress me funny...

I don't want to post actual wedding pictures until the Steeles have a chance to get back and share whatever they want to share. But here are 4 favorites from the trip that are non-wedding. There will be *many* more to come.

Background: I check on the kids before I got to bed each night... usually changing M's diaper at that time (she's a peeing machine at night). I just got back from checking on them (stop worrying - I'm not normally up this late... just when I'm working so that I don't have to work as much while they're awake). When I went into her room, we were out of diapers. So I left her door open a crack, went out to the garage and came back. But I forgot that her door doesn't stay closed unless it's latched - so it was wide open and the hall light was shining in her room. She was starting to wake up and was saying something I didn't understand.

I took this pictures for Auntie Jessie, but I know that others (ahem, grandparents) will want to see these as well.

Two possibilities from Target. They were on sale this week and had both in her size, so I bought both and will return one after the decision is made. And, of course, either will be ironed for the wedding, too!

Jess - what do you want me to do with her hair? I'll start messing with it now so that she's somewhat used to it by the wedding, as this is her preferred hairstyle of choice :/

Kaya and I were talking about all the people that loved her. I said, "And Jesus loves you very much." She said, "Yeah... he died."

I said, Yes, he died for you - and he rose for you, too.

We were talking about all the people that are in heaven with Jesus and how some day we'll be with him, too.

She said, "Jesus carried me." I asked, "Jesus carried you?" She said, "Yeah, Jesus carried me."

(Stop thinking she's a theological genius right here)

Conversation that just happened...

Me (to Geof): What would you like for lunch?
Kaya (to me): PIZZA!
Me (to Kaya): I wasn't talking to you, dear. I was talking to Daddy.
Me (to Geof): What would *you* like for lunch?
Kaya: PIZZA!

By this time we're both laughing. Kaya excitedly says, "We're having pizza, Daddy!!!"

Pepperoni = roni

"Patty cake, patty cake, bake this man."

Two happy shining moments in what suddenly became a sea of "I DO IT MYSEWF"s. But still no interest in the potty... other than to get out of the bathtub 900 times.

Yesterday was Mikaela's birthday. We filmed her opening gifts. Then, we filmed her opening her cards. The gift video was about 17 minutes long. The card video was about 6 and 3/4 minutes. So, I've included the card video below.

I don't know. I really don't have much to say.

If you really want to know what's going on, Genevieve's side has all the weekly updates. That's been pretty accurate from my observations.

It really has been a calm pregnancy. Sure, there are some times when the hormones really kick in and make being in the same room as her difficult. Still, this one's been pretty calm and timid...and, we're old-hat at this now, too .

A couple of days ago I opened a bottle of wine to use in a marinara sauce. I used a cup out of a whole 750mL bottle.

So, I'm thinking, "What kind of meal goes good with this wine?" Of course, I'm not thinking only of myself; I want to enjoy the bottle with my wife.

Then, it dawns on me...again. SHE'S PREGNANT!

Guess I've got a whole bottle of wine to enjoy myself...minus 1 cup.
